Regional Teacher of the Year:
The Education Service District 123 selection committee has selected four Pasco teachers to be the Regional Teacher of the Year in the last five years. There are nine Regional Teacher of the Year awards given to certified instructors across Washington State. Those selected as Regional Teacher of the Year go on to compete in the Washington State Teacher of the Year competition. Laura Jones, Pasco High Business and Marketing Teacher, went on to win Washington State Teacher of the Year in 2008. Congratulations Laura!
