My favorite chapter book would have to be The One and Only Ivan, by Katherine Applegate. It's about a gorilla who decides his new friend, a young elephant, deserves a better life than the circus, and does everything he can to make sure she gets it.

It was really difficult to choose a favorite everybody book, but I've decided on The Circus Ship, by Kris Van Dusen.

MY favorite chapter book is Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins. It takes place a dystopian society -- most everyone is poor so that a smaller, elite group can be rich. Katniss, the main character, is from the poorest district of all, and struggles to survive when she becomes one of twenty-four contestants in the annual Hunger Games -- a deadly contest where only one can make it out alive.

My favorite everybody book is Ivan the Terrier, by Peter Catalanotto!

My favorite chapter book is Among the Hidden, by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It's part of a series called the Shadow Children, and it takes place in a world where it's illegal to have more than two children! The main character, Luke Garner, is a third, and the story is about how he manages to survive by hiding -- and what happens when for the first time in his life, he meets a friend: another third.

Sam and the Tigers, by Julius Lester, is my favorite everybody book, at least at the moment. It's a cute story about a boy named Sam who gets to choose his own outfit for the first day of school for the first time, and the tigers who he meets on the way!

My favorite chapter book is Divergent, by Veronica Roth.

My favorite everybody book is Mama, Do You Love Me? It's about a young girl who asks her mother if she'll always love her, imagining all kinds of circumstances that might put her mother's love to the test.
