The students' classes will be running all throughout the day (9am-3:30pm). Please have your student(s) check with their teacher(s) for their class running times.
VOLUNTEERS!!! Calling all parent/family volunteers! Here are the time sessions:
8:15-9:15am SET UP
9:00-11:15 STATION HELP
12:30-2:30 STATION HELP
2:30-3:40 STATION HELP
3:10-3:45 CLEAN UP
Please call 543-6794 and ask for Mrs. Tuck or Mrs. Virgen to get involved :) You are also very welcome to come cheer on your students or run with them!
Last year our Twainers raised an AMAZING $13,000!!! And a portion of that money was spent on PE and recess equipment. The remainder was used to help purchase 30 iPads and a cart with the mother board computer! Mark Twain is one of the few schools in the district to offer this technology to our students. The iPad cart will soon be rolling down the halls to visit our younger students and they will be focusing on literacy with 1st and 2nd graders!
PLEASE NOTE - Mark Twain PTO made an error on the Fun Run envelopes that went home and it was brought to our attention today.
The money earned this year will not be funding PE and Recess equipment, it will be helping to purchase more iPads for our students since Mark Twain does have well over 700 students. There is still an abundance of PE and recess equipment from the money earned previously and the PTO would like to help get more of the amazing technology into the kids' hands. *Please accept our apology on the printing error.*
