Dear Chess Club Participant and Parent(s)/Guardian(s),                                                                                                         

Thank you for you interest and excitement regarding the CHESS CLUB at Ruth Livingston.  This is an opportunity for students to gain valuable experience and practice by playing other students.

 

Starting in October 2012, we will be opening up the library from 3:40pm until 4:30pm on TUESDAYS.  This opportunity is for any student, from students who don’t yet know the names of the pieces to those who already have a deep understanding of how the game is played. 
 
                                                              

PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR TRANSPORTING THEIR CHILD(REN) HOME.

 

In order to ensure that students have a ride home we will require they bring a permission slip every Tuesday noting they will have transportation home at 4:30 pm.  These permission slips are handed out during chess club or can be picked up in my office.  If the student normally rides a bus and does not bring a permission slip, he/she will be required to ride the bus home. You may pick up your child in the North parking lot by the bicycle racks.
