    Hello Everyone!

    This year Chiawana High School has the privilege to host about 40 Japanese students from Yamate Gakuin High School on April 10th, 2020 - April 24, 2020.  During their stay, the students from Yamate will attend school and participate in school activities.  

    We are looking for families that would be interested in hosting a pair of students in their home for those 2 weeks.  The students will arrive from Japan on the afternoon of April 10, 2020 and will live with you for the two weeks of their visit.  The students will stay in pairs to make their experience a little less stressful.  

    Hosting these students consists of a welcoming home, transportation to and from school, meals (lunch included), and a bed to sleep on.

    THANK YOU for those of you who have expressed interest to host these wonderful students.  We are still in need of finding more host families!!

    Application to host Yamate Gakuin exchange students from Japan

    On (4-10-20) students from Yamate Gakuin High School located in Japan will be arriving at Chiawana High School. This group of students will be living with CHS students, staff, and community members to be apart of their families for 2 weeks. The students will attend Chiawnana High School for two weeks and return to Japan on (5-1-20). The students will be coming from Yokohama Japan. This two-week experience will be filled with the exchange students visiting classrooms, touring the Pasco area, and other nearby locations. They will also have opportunitites to participate in a variety of short trips. If you are interested in hosting, please submit this application.
