Community Resources

We want to share some information about social services and other resources available to help our families during the school closure. We’ll be updating this list, so please check back for more information.
Devices for Elementary School Families
Pasco School District has expanded device distribution to families with students in grades K-2, as well as larger families where one device per household doesn’t allow for enough access. If you have a student in Kindergarten through 6th grade and don’t currently have a personal or district-issued computer in your household, you may checkout a device to use for instructional purposes during the school closure. Device checkout will happen at your student’s elementary school. Schools will communicate directly with families about specific dates and times for checkout. A parent or guardian must be present to sign for the device.
Internet Service
The District has learned that Charter Communications will offer free broadband and Wi-Fi access for 60 days to households with K-12 and/or college students, as well as teachers, who do not already have a Spectrum broadband subscription. To enroll call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.
Mid-Columbia Libraries
Mid-Columbia Libraries will be closed March 17-April 24 to help mitigate the spread of coronavirus. Online services will be available through their website, www.midcolumbialibraries.org
