The Pasco School District is supporting our at-home-learners with the innovative programs, Istation and Dreambox, for literacy and mathematics instruction.    

Dreambox offers Continuous support of math conceptual understanding, fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, plus 24/7 online access, that keeps students building achievement and aligns to Washington State Learning Standards.

Istation is powered by the science of reading.  Istation’s engaging assessments and instruction cover the National Reading Panel’s “Big Five” foundational essentials. Students get the support they need to improve comprehension and growth with activities and lessons that provide actionable and insightful instruction that supports phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary, as well as many other skills.

The Pasco School District will be providing a parent training on December 7th for parents that would like additional information on the math and Literacy platforms Dreambox and Istation.  The training will focus on how families and guardians can access the easy-to-use supplemental home instruction and monitor their child's progress outside traditional school settings.  The zoom link for the training will be located on the district website and are offered in both English and Spanish. Both trainings will be recorded and will be available on the district website for families who are unable to attend.   All students in grades K-5 have access to both Dreambox and Istation.
