Welcome Captain Gray STEM Sharks!

We are very excited that our students will be returning to school soon! We want to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to all our fabulous families. My name is Alejandro A. Ortiz, and it is a great honor for me to continue as Principal at Captain Gray STEM Elementary. Ms. Wilson will continue as our assistant principal for this upcoming school year. We are both honored to be able to serve our Captain Gray students, parents and staff and are happy to welcome you back to the 2022-23 school year! We look forward to engaging in a productive partnership with you to ensure students feel welcomed, valued, and safe at Captain Gray. We believe that our students can achieve high levels of learning when they receive support both at school and at home. Our main goals for this upcoming school year are as follows: Increase student attendance, improve our reading and math in collaboration with our families and create more family events and opportunities for collaboration between teachers and parents.
