Attendance and Truancy Information

Attendance is key to a successful learning experience. Every child, eight to eighteen years of age, is to attend school. All students who are enrolled from grades K-12 are required to attend regularly. It is the responsibility of the parent(s) or guardian(s) to cause the child to attend. It is the responsibility of the child to attend for the full time when school is in session unless the child is enrolled in an approved private school or is receiving home-based instruction.
