Testing Format
SBAC Practice Website - This is the standardized state test that 3rd - 5th grade students will take in the Spring. This will take you straight to the practice test site. On this site you and your students can log on as a guest and experience a shortened version of the state tests both in Math and in ELA. Click on the Green “Student Interface Practice and Training Tests” at the bottom of the page.
Math Practice Testing Tools & Interface - This site will allow students to focus on learning how to use the math tools and navigate the testing format. This tutorial includes math tools that are used in elementary level tests through high school.
ELA skill building activities
TumbleBooks - Students can listen or read to online text and take quizzes about what they have heard/read. Username - rlivings; Password - books.
Fun Brain - Reading - Students can read various books online.
Story Starters - Students can write for a variety of purposes using the provided prompts and layouts offered on the site.
ELA Games - This site offers a variety of skill building games and activities for reading, writing and grammar.
Fun Brain - Words - This will take you to a list of various word and grammar games.
MAP - Reading - This site provides links to a variety of games and activities to build reading and grammar skills. The games are categorized based on MAP scores. This allows students to play games that are specifically geared for their academic level and you can choose more challenging activities by selecting a higher MAP score level.
IXL - ELA - Students can complete quiz like activities based on particular ELA skills. They receive immediate feedback and further instruction as needed.
Math skill building activities
Dreambox - This is the individualized math program that Pasco School District has paid for your child to have an account on. It continually adjusts based on how a student performs on various math activities to reinforce skills students are learning. If your child can not remember their username or password, check with their classroom teacher or Mrs. Fitzgerald (our Technology teacher).
Multiplication Games - Provides students with lessons, individually played games and multiplayer games where they can challenge a friend to practice their multiplication facts.
Fun Brain - Math - Students can play many different math activities. Students can sign up for a free account to keep track of their progress.
Math Playground - This site offers games to practice a variety of math skills and word problems. There are also short videos to help students better understand math concepts.

Study Jams - This site has a variety of activities. Although it is for Math and Science, many of the Science activities will support ELA as they require nonfiction reading skills.
