Important Dates for Future Calendars

• First Day of School: The first instructional day of the school year will be the Tuesday before Labor Day.
• PSD observes the following holidays (doesn't include winter break): 
  • Labor Day (first Monday in September)
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November)
  • Day immediately following Thanksgiving (fourth Friday in November)
  • Christmas Day
  • First Day of January
  • Martin Luther King Day (third Monday in January
  • President’s Day
  • Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
  • Juneteenth
• Winter Break: Ten weekdays TBD (includes Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day)
• Spring Break: Takes place the week of the first Monday of April 
• Calendar Deadline: The calendar will be finalized each year by March 15^th with the Pasco Association of Educators

2026-2027 School Year Key Dates

Pasco School District has identified key dates for the 2026–2027 school year calendar. These dates have been added to both ParentSquare and the district website calendars to help you plan ahead.

Please note that early release days for the 2026–2027 school year are still under negotiation and will be included once the full calendar is finalized and approved.

December
• December 11 – No School TK–5 (Conferences)
• December 16 – Early Release (TK–12)
• December 17–31 – No School (Winter Break)

January
• January 1 – No School (New Year’s Day)
• January 18 – No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)
• January 29 – No School TK–12 (Semester Break)

February
• February 15 – No School (Presidents’ Day)
• February 22 – Snow Make-Up Day (if needed)

March
• March 17 – No School TK–12 (Trimester Break)
• March 26 – No School TK–5 (Conferences)

April
• April 2 – Early Release (TK–12)
• April 5–9 – No School (Spring Break)
• April 30 – No School Grades 6–8 (Conferences)

May
• May 31 – No School (Memorial Day)

June
• June 17 – Last Day of School (Early Release)
• June 18 – Juneteenth Observance (No School)
• June 21 – Snow Make-Up Day (if needed)
