Celebrating Hands-On Learning: Team Pasco House Media Day

PSD proudly welcomed media and industry partners to meet with students from Chiawana and Pasco High Schools at the 25th Team Pasco House, located at 8413 Ashen Dr. in the Seven Sisters Subdivision. 

Through the district’s Construction Trades Program, students gain real-world, hands-on experience by building homes from the ground up, equipping them with the skills needed for careers in the trades. Laura Jones, PSD’s Career & Technical Education Director, highlighted the program’s impact, saying, “The Construction Trades program provides our students with invaluable, hands-on experience in construction, working directly on a real job site.” 

The Team Pasco House project exemplifies the power of community collaboration, with students, teachers, and local contractors coming together to make this home a reality. This partnership not only fosters student learning but also prepares the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
