Ochoa Middle School Teacher Wins November's Extreme Classroom Makeover Award
We’re thrilled to celebrate Mrs. Cortes, who has been named November’s Extreme Classroom Makeover Teacher Winner by WA Fed Bank! This well-deserved recognition comes with a $300 prize to support her classroom and students.
As a first-year teacher at Ochoa Middle School, Mrs. Cortes teaches sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in both Spanish and English. She plans to use her award to purchase bag holders, eraser toppers, and bilingual books for various grade levels, enhancing her classroom’s functionality and inclusivity.
