Release of Information to the Media

Parents, guardians, or employees who do not wish for authorized district officials to release information about their child or themselves in response to media inquiries may sign a form to opt out of such releases. Failure to sign an opt out form authorizes the district to release information regarding specific incidents that involve students or employees in response to media inquiries to the extent allowed by law.  Applicable laws may require the district to release public information to the media even if a media opt out form has been signed.
