Cooperative Programs with Other Districts and Public Agencies

The superintendent or designee is authorized to enter into cooperative programs with other units of local government whenever it appears to be in  the economic, administrative or educational advantage of the district. Board approval of certain types of cooperative agreements may be required by law. Cooperative agreements shall comply with the requirements of the Interlocal Cooperation Act and other applicable laws, with assurances that all parties to the agreement have the legal authority to engage in the activities contemplated by the agreement.
