The board of directors recognizes the value of seeking alternative sources of funding which help support and advance the mission of the district.

The superintendent is directed to develop procedures and guidelines for the grant acquisition process.  Such procedures shall address the specific role of the board in this process. Such procedures shall also require the approval of a district-level administrator prior to submittal of any grant.
