SCHOOL FACILITIES

Naming of  FacilitiesNew district buildings and facilities shall be  named by the board of directors. Facilities may be names after persons who have attained national or local prominence in the fields of education, arts and sciences, military and statesmanship, or community service; after the geographic characteristics of the area in which the facility is located; or according to other criteria established by the board. Buildings and facilities will not be named after living persons unless the board finds unique circumstances exist that would warrant an exception.
