CogAT Practice Activities: The CogAT is a cognitive reasoning test given to students who are being considered for highly capable services. All students in 1st and 5th grades will take the CogAT as part of our Universal Screening. The CogAT includes questions that involve analogous thinking, which can be a new activity for students. Below you will find practice activities for grades K-5 to help them become familiar with the type of questioning they may encounter on the assessment. Unfortunately, CogAT does not provide an answer key for these activities.
