Calendar Art Contest Requirements
Pasco School District invites all students to showcase their creativity in our annual Calendar Art Contest! This year’s theme, “This is Me at PSD,” encourages students to express what it means to be a part of the PSD community—whether through academics, friendships, sports, music, clubs, or any of the many opportunities that make school a meaningful place to learn and grow.
We invite students to reflect on their personal experiences, school activities, and connections within their classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and beyond. Whether it’s the excitement of a science experiment, the teamwork of a sports game, the creativity of an art or music class, or the friendships formed in school clubs, this contest is an opportunity to illustrate what makes PSD a place where every student belongs.
Who Can Participate:
Pasco School District students enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2024-2025 school year.
Selection Process: The artwork will be judged on the following criteria:
- Artistic Merit • Originality • Creativity • Suitable for a wall calendar
- How well the artwork highlights the This is Me at PSD theme
A panel of judges will select winners in May. Winners will be surprised in their classroom and their parents will be notified by email or phone.
How the Contest Works:
A panel of judges will select one winner per month based on creativity, artistic expression, and how well the artwork represents the theme. Additionally, one piece will be chosen as the cover artwork, making a total of 13 winners!
