Safety & Risk Management

At Pasco School District, we are committed to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and visitors. Our Safety and Risk Management Department is dedicated fostering safe, healthy, and secure environments, conducive to learning and growth.

Our Purpose: To create and sustain a culture of safety throughout our school district that empowers everyone within our community to thrive. From students to employees, from classrooms to conference rooms, from laboratories to recreational areas.

What We Do

  • Risk Assessment: Support the district by conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop proactive measures to mitigate risks.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and regularly evaluate environmental, health, and safety procedures to ensure consistent and effective execution of safe work practices.
  • Training: Provide ongoing safety training programs to equip staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to create and maintain a safe working and learning environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
