    The Mission of Columbia River Elementary Library Media Center is to assist students in becoming lifelong learners who are information literate. This mission shall be accomplished in the following manner:

    • Provide intellectual and physical access to a variety of resources that allow students to utilize materials suited best for the individual's mode of learning.
    • Enrich the curriculum through authentic learning situations which cause students to use ideas and information effectively.
    • Provide instruction that stimulates interest in reading and learning for both pleasure and information.
