COVID-19 Testing Information
The Pasco School District has partnered with the Benton-Franklin Health District (BFHD) and the WA State Department of Health (DOH) to offer free, voluntary COVID-19 diagnostic testing. At this time, testing is only available for staff and students who are NOT experiencing any symptoms. If you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms, please visit www.bfhd.wa.gov to locate a community testing site.

The district offers two types of diagnostic tests that can show if you have an active COVID-19 infection and need to take steps to quarantine or isolate yourself from others. The two types of diagnostic tests available at this time are molecular and antigen (aka "rapid") tests. Click here for some more information on testing and the differences between the types of tests.
OPTION 1 | Rapid Testing through BinaxNOW
Rapid tests from BinaxNOW are collected using a shallow nasal swab and results are available 15 minutes following the test.
OPTION 2 | Molecular Testing through Curative Inc.
Pasco School District uses PCR tests from Curative Inc. Tests are collected using an oral swab (similar to brushing your teeth) or a shallow nasal swab and are sent overnight to a lab for processing. Results are typically available 48 hours following the collection of the test. Curative uses an electronic system to manage tests and provide results to patients and the district. Because Curative uses an electronic system, please follow the instructions below to create a patient account and create a placeholder for your first test.
Step 1: Select the appropriate link below
Step 2: Follow the on screen instructions and answer the screening questions. Do not click the "BOOK NOW" link at the top of the page.
Step 3: Click the 'Continue' button on the page that says "Let's book your appointment now".
Step 4: Continue to follow the on screen instructions and sign the electronic consent forms.
Step 5: Upon successfully registering and booking a placeholder appointment, you will receive a confirmation message with a QR code and appointment reference number.
If you need assistance setting up your account, you may contact the school directly. Alternatively, someone at the district office is available at (509) 543-6729 to provide support.
