• What You Need to Know About 2023 Graduation Ceremonies at Edgar Brown Stadium

We are thrilled to inform you about some exciting changes to this year's graduation ceremonies that will make the event even more enjoyable for everyone. Here's what you can look forward to:

    1. Expanded Seating: We have expanded the seating capacity to accommodate more guests by putting the stage and students on the field and opening the visitor side of the stadium for additional seating.

    1. Additional Accessible Seating Options: We understand the importance of providing accessible seating options for individuals with special needs. We will now have more accessible seating options by having both sides of the stadium open.

    1. Enhanced Viewing Experience: To ensure that you don't miss a moment of the ceremony, we will have TV screens that will display a closer view of the graduates. You'll be able to capture every proud moment up close.

    2. New! Photos of Graduates Available: Dorian Studio will be taking pictures of the graduates with their diplomas at all ceremonies this year. Prices range from $22-$60. Set-up an account before graduation to ensure you can access your graduate's picture for viewing and purchase.

    Important Graduation Ceremony Information

    • Early Arrival: We encourage you to arrive early as parking is limited. Plan to be seated at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins. Once the procession starts, seating will not be permitted. Gates will open an hour before each ceremony starts.

    • Parking: Since there is limited parking in the parking lots, we recommend you park on the streets, or any parking lots with availability in the surrounding area.

    • Seating: If your student is graduating from Chiawana or Pasco High School, please take note of whether your graduate will be sitting on the 'Home' or 'Visitor' side of the field. If your graduate is on the 'Home' side, please park near the 'Home' entrance and enter through the 'Home' entrance. Similarly, if your graduate is on the 'Visitor' side, please park near the 'Visitor' entrance and enter through the 'Visitor' entrance.

    • Refreshments: While outside liquids are not allowed inside the stadium, water will be available for purchase. Please remember to stay hydrated during the event.

    • Restrooms: Restroom facilities will be accessible on both sides of the stadium for your convenience.

    • Footwear Advisory: For the safety of all participants, we kindly request that stiletto heels not be worn on the field. This will help prevent any accidents or damage to the turf.

    • Balloons: Balloons are welcome to be tied or clipped to the fence at the entrance.

    • Umbrellas: You can bring an umbrella, but please be sure to close them 10 minutes before the ceremony begins so everyone can enjoy the ceremony.

We hope these changes will make your graduation experience at Edgar Brown Stadium even more memorable. We look forward to celebrating this amazing accomplishment with you and your graduate!
