The Pasco High Players are proud to present “The Outsiders”, with shows on February 1-2 and 8-9 inside Gregson Auditorium at Pasco High School.
This classic coming of age drama was made popular by the 1983 film directed by Francis Ford Coppola, which featured budding Hollywood stars Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio and Diane Lane.
Adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel, the Pasco Players have placed the story of “The Outsiders” right here in Pasco. The world that S.E. Hinton imagined comes to life as these young people tackle the sobering themes of conflict, socio-economic status, gender dynamics and the adolescent's search for identity.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on February 1st, 2nd and 8th. There is also a Saturday matinee performance at 2 p.m. on February 9th. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Pasco High School ASB office for $5.00. Tickets will also be available on the night of each performance for $7.00 at the door.
This show does include the use of stage violence. It is not recommended for children under 8.
