Pasco Community Invited to Groundbreaking for Columbia River Elementary & Middle School #4

Pasco School District cordially invites parents, students, district employees and members of the community to attend the joint groundbreaking ceremony for Columbia River Elementary and Middle School #4 on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at the construction site of the two new schools at 9011 Burns Road, near the intersection of Springer Lane and Burns Road.

Parking for the event will be located at the school site along Burns Road. Attendees traveling from Road 100 should turn right onto Burns Road, and then turn left onto the first gravel road immediately after Springer Lane, which is part of the Columbia Terrace development. Due to City of Pasco road construction, Burns Road is closed between Road 68 and Road 90, so access to the school construction site is only available via Road 100.

Columbia River Elementary and Middle School #4 are two of the four school buildings that will be constructed with funds from the $99.5 million bond package that voters approved in 2017. Both schools will open for students in the 2020-2021 school year.
